First, never store your chamber and lens of the camera in your pocket when not in use for a long time, especially if you live in a humid climate.

It is recommended that you store your lenses in places without air stagnant, or in a cabinet dryer with a controlled humidity. Store in a pocket (or cabinet) for the visually impaired, fungi that grow on your goal.

If you live in a very dry climate and could be charged if they do not stay long in the pocket. Whether the lens is attached, so to wear when you do not need to go out, kicks the dirt.

Keep it attatched. In this way, the camera moves as quickly as possible without a lens. In the course of the facade is exposed (w / or ice, or) a covering for the body, the greater the chances of dust on the sensor. Keep your key to get rid of dust on the camera sensor and stores it in a pocket when not in use.

If you are not with your camera / lens, store in an airtight container with a bag of desiccant in the box at all times to keep dry.
